I need your opinion! :)

Well, with the unfortunate and untimely passing of our cat Tigger, Butters has been pretty lonesome. Jeremy and I are kicking around the idea of getting a kitten for Butters. However, we are unsure as to whether or not Dain would kill it. :) He tends to abuse Butters pretty well, but Butters is a BIG cat and Dain can't really hurt him. I do spend all day with Dain, so supervision with a kitten wouldn't be too hard and it would be a good way to teach him how to be more gentle. What do you think?
